    Department Seniority

Our most senior line dispatcher is entering his 10th year this month. Our newest 3 just got signed off last month.

    Coa/ual

Haven't heard of anyone I know doing so. It's sad their hiring all these new people to the CO side so they can pay them less and then make them continue to work under that pay structure in Chicago.

    Airline Dispatchers Federation

Hey Wings, Good to see you on here again! Hope your doing well. -BD

    Airline Dispatchers Federation

It's worth it IMO. I recently joined and enjoy the benefit of knowing there is a group representing my interest as an airline dispatcher and working to protect us from legistlation that would harm our profession.

Pinnacle and UAL agree on terms....More Q's?

Menke's temporary deal with UA sounds more like desperation. They should squeeze every last dime that PT stole.

    Wasssup with 9E

I thought they where waiting on Fred's place to call.

    No iPads coming to XJET.

Those Jepps might become pricey once the additional fuel burn is factored in and results in major partner's wanting less money for the same work.

    New Flying for XJet?

That's waaaaayyyy too long of a flight to be on any sized RJ.

Ryan Intl laying off employees may move from RFD

Never a good business plane to have all your eggs in one basket. Esp when dealing with strictly contract work.

Ryan Intl laying off employees may move from RFD

Primarly FA's but I do wonder what support staff entails? At least their predicting only 6 months, but still not good.

    Dispatched To Wrong Airport

That is an unusual one. Usually the dispatch systems preload the flt num/city pair. Maybe DL changed flt numbers but not the city pair and it got loaded into the dx sys like that. With any dx sys that shouldn't take long to correct, however new release prep for an int'l long haul could have...

    AA term sheet for DX

Slight pay adjustment but they want to strip all job protections and let guy of 16 peeps. Hope they stand up againsit those last two. Of course this is mgmt first pitch, hopefully they'll get something better in advanced negotiations.

    AA term sheet for DX

    You are correct. Unintended typo...

    AMR Proposal Highlights

This is AA dream proposal pitch, now APA has a chance to stand firm and hit this thing out of the ballpark. That won't look good on the pitcher.
  15. B

    AA term sheet for DX

Is anyone aware of what, if anything, was offered to AA DX? The first round term sheets for the rest of AA's union groups are posted at http://www.restructringamr.com, however when the TWU group is selected it doesn't have a listing for DX, which is seperate from the other 3 TWU groups.

WSJ: AMR also is seeking to outsource flying of any planes with fewer than 89 seats

First pitch by AMR mgmt with their dream scenario. Now we'll get to see how APA responds with the hit.

Good Luck to the AMR Folks

Any word on if it will be actually fourloughs are will the let attrition run its course first. Any word on buyouts for the ultra senior guys?

    AA recent hires?

I heard through the grapevine that a dx I know of got the offer.
