Realistic contract pilot options
airbaker, having a type with no time in the a/c is almost useless in the contract world. if you have a hook or a promise from some friend for work, mabey. my advice to you is get a 737 type and apply to SWA. they are interviewing like crazy and are partial to furlowed guys. trust me on this...- falcondrivr

guys, another qual to note is that they want 1000 hrs in aircraft over 20,000 lbs. this kills me; ive got almost 3000 hrs in Falcon 10s (19300 lbs).- falcondrivr

half price 737 type congrats on the interview. i did mine on 1/8 and will be biting my fingernails till 2/20 for the answer. a buddy of mine did a special 8 day program at aeroservices in mia last month. he was just furlowed from metrojet. give them a call, with your time, you should qualify...- falcondrivr
