Just got an "Apply Now!" postcard from Cape Air, looks like they'll take over the EAS Montana Highline routes from Silver.

Not sure I'd be...
91.1057 is only applicable for Subpart K fractional operators. 135 and 121 also have "applicable" definition sections for duty and rest, but that does not appear in 125.
One would think that a reasonable interpretation of "rest" would be the same as 121 and 135, i.e. "free from all duty," but...
KJAC, KMSO, KBTM, KAFO, 36U, KSMN, KRIL, KCDC, KBIH, KRNO, KMEV.....just to name a few. A simple flip thru western US Jepps, and pick the charts with a lot of brown should do it.
Why does anyone go to university and end up with a major in art history/russian literature/underwater basket weaving? Why does anyone start a program of pre-med or pre-law, knowing that only some small percentage of undergrad students will ever get accepted to med school or a law program...
Owning a plane as a primary trainer can certainly be cheaper than renting, especially with 2 students using it.
As to whether "Dad" should instruct, a couple of things come to mind. One, as an expired CFI and airline pilot, you may or may not be the best choice as instructor vs. say, someone...
Maybe use the 1-in-60 rule? 1 degree of deviation at 60nm is 1 nm "off course". If your example was the 180 radial at 60 dme, then the acute angle of the triangle would be simply 20 deg., making the heading 200. Multiples of 60 for the long leg are easy, but, with the 70dme fix, then it will...
Very airport-dependent as to whether or not it's feasible, in my limited experience. Last thing you'd want in the middle of the night would be to get rousted out by airport security.

(Caught my attention, I've got a trip scheduled down that way this week.)
Here's one:

Peabody Coal corporate shuttle. The six 20 minute legs per day would send me over the edge, but might be somebody else's cup of tea.
(Other than their existence, I have no other info on this operation whatsoever.)
Can't imagine Saudi et. al. being much fun for wife and daughter.
Watching climbto350 and other pilot job sites, in general, there seem to be a few more corporate postings from Texas, Dallas, Houston, etc., than other areas. (But, I suppose that could imply high turnover, too!)
