Boeing cargo jet lands at wrong Wichita airport
What a horrible sinking feeling that must have been. Apparently, even after they landed, they still weren't sure where they were. AAO (Rwy 18 6100' x 100) IAB (rwy 19L/19R 12000' x 150) Airports are 8nm apart.- BEfly

Future of the Hawker 4000
I was in training with some talon air guys in Wichita, they seem to have success with them. They were using them to fly rck stars around...on tour. They weren't boasting about the pay thats for sure. I really like the airplane, powerful, fun to fly, but it's easy to love with less than 500... -

It's both. FO's and CA's, young and old, many backgrounds. In fact, we have a couple CFI types that are pretty good for the most part but have a tough time transitioning from arrivals and vectors in DC to screaming out of the flight levels into VFR conditions followed by a visual approach... -

I fly a charter jet into a lot of unontrolled fields. Half the time, the guy on the radios (my radios) doesn't even know what direction we are coming from let alone the distance we are from the field. These guys sure as hell aren't going to make proper radio calls or learn "traffic pattern... -
