Be careful what you wish for. I spent a year flying ATRs out of San Juan, and I can tell you the islands are not all that great. Most of them are third world countries, and cost of living is VERY high.

Killing innocent children in the womb because you refuse to take responsibility for your actions is respecting life? And supporting people who do this respects life? I've always been amazed at the lefts BRAVE stance that you can literally tear children apart limb from limb in the womb (AND THEY...

DALLAS, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Shares in American Airlines parent company AMR Corp. (AMR) fell to an all-time low on Wednesday as a gloomy economic outlook and fears of bankruptcy at the world's largest...
This was posted by another Eagle pilot on another board.
"Okay folks this is my suggestion, for the seniority integration, everyone stays put where they are, the furloughees stay where they are at AA and AE. If AA dumps more pilots, they will come to AE only if AE is hiring and if their...
The difference is that then they had ammunition to threaten the different pilot groups that were trying to merge. The feeling among many was that we needed them. They were scared. It's the opposite now. We are angry and spitefull, as well as mobilized to form a concensous. I don't think this...
In case of another round of furloughs at the mainline, resulting in a large # of flow backs into the RJs, and the associated costs of 500-1000 training cycles. He is saying that if that becomes reality, AMR will simply sell Eagle to negate the entire deal. Of course, something else to remember...

Need to get my ATP done, and the examiner I was going to go to sold his business. Any suggestions, comments, opinions, or experiences with flight schools and examiners in Houston or the surrounding area? I am really looking for a show up one morning, take the the checkride the next (3-5 hrs...

I was actually thinking about adding new forums, not changing the existing ones. I think ones for specific aircraft types and one for jobs available would be used a great deal. Thanks for the info.

Any chance of expanding the forums for geographic specific areas (either by state or metro area), job openings of all types (since most people are not choosy right now), and one for aircraft types (so that people transitioning to a new a/c can gather info) I am new here, so if this has been...

My wife and two of my friends are interested in learning to fly. Does anyone know of an FBO or flight school in the Houston area that will let an outside CFI teach in their aircraft? I am especially interested in putting all three of them in a taildrager.
