As far as the ILS/LOC I always brief and teach to review both minima and to continue on a LOC approach if the GS fails.

I recommend them to only log the time they are the PIC.
Take the 'sole manipulator of' time as extra experience but don't log it.
It just clusters the whole thing by logging PIC in 3 different ways, legal or not.
The question of much PIC time you have should be answered by how much experience...

Approach the school where you intend to do your training for your CPL and CFI.
Consider your training period the interview.
Many school would much rather hire from their own training pool as this guarantees some form of knowledge and quality.
Hiring form the outside takes time and money to find...
Yeah, you really want to do a 135 IFR checkride with 10 hrs. multi time.
Cape Air is not gonna take you with 10 hrs ME.
Go to work for one of the pilot mill flight schools for a year or so and walk away with 2-300 hrs ME.
Correct, no landings, cross country time or anything else but total flight time and PIC.
Example: 2.5 hr cross country flight with 3 landings and 2 practice approaches with the Pilot flying under the hood for 1.3 the safety pilot only gets to log.....drumroll......1.3

If the boss-man gets an itch do you need to drop everything and go or are you on a schedule with hard days off?
