If my numbers are correct, our combined "NO" voice will be 40% of the Regional Airline industry. That should make it far more difficult for Airline Management to flush us without some serious clogging effect. Please vote NO Eagle. We are so close.
The Eagle pilot is one of the few that I still respect (so long as they don't cave). The PSA pilot, I do not. At all. They are a disgrace and embarrassment to the industry for chasing Pinnacle at the hand of Delta. Pick a name that says "I have respect for my peers, my family, and myself."...
Company has real-time down-to-the-foot tracking screen uplink at big airports. Since they are the "issue" airports where it makes a difference, it's ultra trackable. Go up to the OCC and see for yourself.
January 4th, the free market will force a different tune. SkyWest wants to make money. If they shrink, they lose money. If they maintain, they lose money.
If they want an airline, they're going to have to get more creative than labor concessions.
SkyWest Inc, you've squeezed all of the...
Tell that to the pilot who also works as a Dentist. Or the pilots that successfully flip homes and rent others out. Or the pilot who is also real estate agent. Or the pilot who has a lucrative accounting/wealth management firm. Or the pilot who is an electrician. Or the pilot who is a...
I'm not here to s#1t on your dream. But, at least read my advice:
If you enjoy flying, don't do it as your only career---but you can make it one of your jobs. Diversify your work & income. Dont become dependant. It will save you a lot of heartache later.
Our (and your) loyalty to this...
I hope you're right. But airlines don't want strong-willed employees that look out for each other, but rather the whole. They want proven, breakable minions. They will take those who jump when their superiors say "jump"---all in the name of "US Airways", or "Delta", or "United"...or whoever...
Who hired the hot Lot S bus driver that looks like Amy Adams?! I felt like we finally caught a break!

I heard an interesting argument: "What difference does it make? They'll (management) agree to the TA and then bankrupt us, forcing the pay lower. The Pinnacle guys screwed us."
Does this argument have merit? Can they do this with INC's 700+ million in the bank?
Edumicate me.
We can all try...but...like everything else labor tries: The front will look like a cannon and the bang, at best, will poof out like a fart. The alternative is a backfire. People just need to stop being pilots. There are too many of us, hence options for management.
