What's going on at Big Sky?

hey guys, just curious what is going on in the great white north? is there any news about what mesaba plans to do with BSA? heck are there any juicy rumors? is champney and denney still stuck in everyone's side? isn't champney on a contract, when does it run out?

i've heard mx hasn't been so great. is it mechanics not caring or that they don't have the parts to fix things properly?

first and foremost you guys, and gals, (my feeble attempt at being pc) be careful. ain't no flight worth your life or career for. best wishes to all that are hanging in there. try to keep looking up, that way it's harder to see the shadows.

Nothing much happening at Big Sky except them losing around a million a quarter for the MAIR shareholders and thus draining 4 million away from Mesaba Airlines per year. Of course, that is not the fault of anyone at Big Sky. The MAIR Board and Execs did that all to themselves. I am sure that they are looking to unload Big Sky soon. After our poor paying contract was achieved with the threat of our jobs being farmed out to the lower paying subsiduary, MAIR has said, "mission accomplished."

Besides being a financial drain on MAIR (read... Mesaba Airlines) foley has been quoted as saying that they're looking to replace the metroliners with Beech 1900s. I believe in the same blurb, he admitted to abandoning talks with UAL for a contract because UAL wanted Big Sky to assume the lease responsibility.

So... who the heck knows, Foley sure doesn't.
