Mesa's CRJ 900's could be a true asset to US Airways. To my knowledge, America West management has never talked bad about the profits they bring in.

Can SWA compete directly with the low costs of an 85 or so passenger CRJ on a same route?

1st battle of mainline E-190 vs regional CRJ-900. Should be very interesting.

The CRJ900 is a cramped, uncomfortable airplane. The 190 is a mainline sized airplane with comfortable seats and plenty of leg room. The LTV and "experience" is a bonus.

I predict no shortage of customers for both...especially at the price.
