Just curious if anyone has any info on TWC Aviation out of Burbank? I've done a search and found some stuff, but alot of the threads on here were pretty old so I was wondering if anything has changed. I'm mainly looking for QOL info (and am well aware that QOL varies GREATLY in the 135 biz) Any current or previous employees have any input it would be greatly appreciated!

Someone I used to fly with quit his job and went to this place with a good agreement on pay, duty assignment and schedule. Until he got there! Then the real details were revealed in no uncertain terms! Since he had allready quit the other job, he had little choice but to endure it or quit and be unemployed and under the threat of being sued for training costs. Knowing him, he probably flew trans-cons at FL270 and Mmo just to even things up! I hope things have gotten better since then. (1 1/2 yrs ago)

Best,

I had a very brief discussion with them a few months ago. Citation X left seat was 90k with NO fixed days off. Buh-Bye!

Yep, everyone is right!! I worked their and got 4 days off in 7 months!!! I worked 33 days straight.. Time off in hotel counts towards your 13 in a quarter. So if you are single, have no life and like low pay for SOCAL then go for it!

Looks like TWC is still looking for a Citation X PIC and a Premier 1A PIC - I saw the postings on corporatepilot.com (or one of those other job sites). I thought the SoCal market was pretty competitive for jet PIC positions - meaning that pilots had "some" negotiating ability?

How many Premier 1A PICs (with type ratings) are out there who would be willing to live 1 hour from Burbank (super expensive or a traffic nightmare) and would be willing to agree to no set days off? Not many I would think...

Are there any positives to working for TWC Aviation beyond reasonably nice equipment?
