I had asked this question in the Buying/Selling forum but not a whole lot of people there....figured I could get more answers here.

Has any used or are you using MLB.TV on a laptop? I am wanting to watch Cubs games on layovers when not televised on WGN and also use it in the crashpad.

If you have used it in a hotel on your laptop were the wireless connections good enough to watch? I have seen the connection speeds vary greatly. Also have you tried to hook it up at home to a HD TV to watch the games?

I am considering it, not that I have money burning a hole in my pocket, but hey its baseball season.

Thanks for any input.

I have a wireless network at home and I watch games on my old Dell laptop with no problem. If you watch many games like I do and don't have the Direct TV baseball package (too expensive if you ask me) then I recommend buying for the whole season, its something like 30 dollars, pays for itself after just 3 games.

have fun, and don't forget to root for the World Champs!!!! :D
