The Infamous Pan Am/ KLM Crash....

I met the First officer of that Pan Am flight in Herndon at an ALPA safety function a few years ago. He spoke with us very candidly about the tradgedy. He had a photo album with him that we looked at that i will never forget. He is in the process of writing a book about the accident to help him cope.

He was very interesting to speak with. Still putting a face with this still sends me chills thinking about what happened.
 
As with any accident, there is no one smoking gun to point at... there were allot of things going on during that accident.
