After flying all day with no food. After holding at EAU for 45 minutes.
After holding at the FAF on the LOC BC RWY 4 EAU for 10 minutes. After missing
the approach on my first try. I enter a unfamiliar ops in EAU and was greeted by two
Mesaba crews with smiling faces. Very helpful ops personnel and a all a round
good vibe. For that I am grateful.

The next day after finding out my checking account was chapter 7. I rode the
cockpit jumpseat on the Avro home. The two FAs were awsome on the two hour
delay. The pilots were very professional and fun. They gave me a first class meal
while I watch a 16 year guy work his magic through a line of thunderstorms.

I don't have time to type all the things that happened to me in two days.
But I was a very neede person who was a little down on his luck. Mesaba
came through for me and for that I am grateful. Just people helping people.
I can't wait to return the hospitality when I get back on my feet.
I am a three year DTW guy who just went to MSP for the summer.
All my freinds told me I would hate MSP. All my freinds were wrong......

I've also jumpseateed on Mesaba ARJ's a few times, everytime they were great to a fellow airlink pilot.
Always invited to sit in first if there was a seat. Thanks XJ.

Refreshing Change!!

Wow!!

It sure is nice to see a fella on here talking NICE about another company instead of
trash-talking them for a change... Can we have some more of this?? Would be a great help to the entire INDUSTRY!!!!

Wow, for a second I thought I might still be asleep and dreaming!

This post is the truth though, we al my bicker and fight on here, but out there alot of us are 300% more likley to really help each other out in the real world. I ran into the same thing with an Allegheny crew a few weeks ago that went above and beyond the call to help me get to work! It's so nice to see comraderie!

I agree...very refreshing to see some positive stuff! :D

See!!! we're not all bad in XJ land. Glad that my fellow XJ'ers were able to help you out. Now the question is... was it key lime cheesecake, carrot cake or... chocolate cake?

I had a medical emergency (dad taken to intensive care in EWR on a work assignment for his company)and found out about this on a MSN overnight. When I flew back to MEM I took emergency leave and had about 10 minutes to catch a flight to EWR. The captain and f/o were very sympathetic to my situation and I got a first class seat without having to worry about listing for it. I was also lucky enough to fly back with the same crew once my dad's health improved. For this I'm very grateful to XJ.
