SWA -700 Delivery Schedule 2004-2112

Oak bro,

I know you meant 2012. In 2112 it will be my great great-granddaughter flying that one.:D

Oak,
I think Chase posted a more up-to-date version of the delivery schedule on a previous thread. It has the 47 A/C (net 30) delivery schedule.

And another thing....

Looks like some of the -200 retirements are being delayed a few months according to Chase's post from the other thread.

I'll paste it here for comparison. Should hopefully affect a couple of classes worth of poolies sooner than later (fingers crossed) ;) .

From Chase's other post:
You asked when I got the update on the 5 additonal aircraft (1 lease, 4 buys) to post it. Here it is:

I posted previously SWA announced 4 a/c buys & 1 additional lease in the last quarterly webcast. This is the updated info on -700 deliveries and -200 retirements.

-700 adds -200 retirements

Jan 2 1
Feb 1 0
Mar 2 0
Apr 6 2
May 2 2
June 9 (yea!) 0
Jul 4 4
Aug 6 2
Sept 4 1
Oct 5 2
Nov 3 1
Dec 3 2

total 47 17

Notice the number of -200 retirements in February. That's right....Goose Egg!!! I hope this is right, and we hear classes in February soon.

Coop,

The FAR more significant numbers there are the 6 in April and the 9 ("yea!") in June, since it takes about 3 months to turn a newhire into a bidding pilot who is flying the schedule. The January hires will be seeing the April jets, and the March hires will be seeing the June jets. In the mean time, the new checklist procedures coming out will PROBABLY make a February class unlikely, but not impossible.

We're all anxious to see you guys on the property, although you're probably even more anxious to be here. Enjoy your Christmas and New Year's; it may be a little while before you have holidays at home again... although New Year's Eve in Vegas has a LOT to be said for it!

Cheers,

Snoopy
