Sounds like you have flown with one too many SCABS. You are starting to sound like them - trust no one, blame everyone, they're all out to get you. Remember, the XJT pilots don't determine which routes go to the RJ; that's the job of CAL Marketing. Call them and vent your frustrations where they belong. And for the record, I think all jet flying under the COA code should be done by CAL pilots. Funny, the chance for the ultimate scope is a SSL away, right under the CAL pilots nose, yet they are too jaded to see it. Believe it or not, the XJT pilots are on your side. That's a lot of unity the CAL pilots could use and so badly need. We want to see the flying shifted back to 737's because that is where our future is as well. Think about it rationally and you might be suprised by what you find.

Uh oh, I started a pissing contest. First off, on the scab comment, go fukc yourself; I'm not a scab and don't think like one.

Second, did you even read what I posted? "trust no one, blame everyone, they're all out to get you."??? Dude, I never said that, nor did I even come across like that. Re-read what I wrote. I'm not blaming the XJT pilot group, I blame our sh!tty scope clause in contract '97, voted on by mainline pilots, and CAL management for taking advantage of it. I didn't point the blame at XJT pilots, I merely poked fun at the way they cry "scope!" like most mainline guys have been doing for years. See? It's ironic, like I mentioned before. Read a little closer next time before you throw out that scab crap.

SSL? Man, I'm all for it, wish we had it. Problem is a bunch of old fart morons like Uncle Jimmy who don't want to consider it. He rode jumpseat one day to MFE and I asked why we couldn't do a SSL... he blathered on spouting stuff about the "minor leagues" and working your way up... that was all well and good 10-12 years ago, before the RJ showed up. It's a whole new industry now and those old farts don't want to acknowledge it. Sucks ass...

I'm done, sorry to hijack the thread again... continue on with the Skywest stuff.

Uncle Jimmy talking about working your way up! Yeah he had it real hard when he crossed the line in '83. I guess you do have to be a special person to purposely steal someone's job. Never stops to amaze me how much of a d!ck that guy can be. As long as you guys have his type around and the 'silent' majority management will continue to bend you guys over.

on the average 1-2 are always in the maintenance hangar. I saw them everyday from the training center.

maybe because our contract was signed in 1997 and your employee handbook came out in 2001. Also, last time I checked XJT had 225 jets on board with another 50 comming in the next 2 years and options for 100 more. The flowbacks are on their way out. The other thing we have at XJT is this thing called a union. The same union that got fuloughed XJT and UAL pilots jobs at Skywest with no interview, you might have heard of it, ALPA. My friends that work at Skywest and have been there 3 years are not jet capt's yet. Last time I checked we are doing 48 upgrades a month. Oh yeah, and we dont fly props.

Four points for ya....

1) It was your quote
2) You do know me
3) I am a +2000 hour Captain (sorry for not updating) and yes, I am not Chuck Yeager.
4) I am just fueking around with ya man....lighten up!!
