Supposed to start up this Spring I think. Saw them at the ATL Air Inc Job Fair. Hiring only Captain qualified individuals with over 3000 PIC Turbine, etc... Airbus Fleet. www.skybus.com

That funny considering (from what my buddy told me) that most of the initial cadre are ex-indy guys. I can all but guarantee you that none of the ex-indy guys have that much time in type unless I'm reading you post wrong and it's 3000 hrs total turbine PIC.

Also 1st year capt. is in the 80k's!!

Anyone??

Could be

why a certain blojet "founder" headed on over there... Big bucks, great treatment... Tastes good...

ATA73Pilot's info sounds right. I spoke with an interviewee. $65 a year. When the applicant asked how they expected to keep the pilot's happy and union's off the property....they answered: "Oh probably stock options, a bonus plan, that kind of thing."

It's just like I dreamed.....a pretty new airplane, holding the lives of 150 passengers in your hands, hot flight attendants, loads of time off, a single wide, two cars in the carport...a Vega & a Pinto, and lovely wife forming spam to look like a chicken!

That guy spoke to you too? I don't know about you, but after 25 years I'm starting to think somebody done lie to me.

I bet they have pilots lining up at the door trying to get in saying to themselves "if I don't do it someone else will so it might as well be me".

Some pimple-faced kid who is sick of Mesa and still lives with mom and dad!!!

Well we all know the type.

Unfortunately, JJet44 hit it right on the head!
ALPA National has to start a grass roots project to teach young 121 pilots about the industry and what their actions can lead to.

I have nothing against SkyBus (except the name!), but when a "new" LCC comes into the picture just to make the owners/investors money, it can and will hurt the industry.

That being said, you get what you pay for. Time will tell.

Always
