Senior Administrative Assistant / Flight Scheduler / Dispatcher Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) is a leading provider of voice, video, and data services. Job Classification: Regular, Full Time Location: Englewood, CO Essential job duties and responsibilities include: Coordinate with officers and executive assistants to schedule travel on corporate aircrafts. Coordinate aircraft and crew scheduling and all associated logistics. Coordinate with outside vendors to meet commitments for hotels, limos, international ground handlers and flight planners, travel agencies, airlines, and fixed base operators and other corporations. Track trips from departure to return base, update crew, share information, and reconfirm logistics. Respond to frequent customer change requests. Under direct supervision, provides general administrative support to a director and/or group of professionals. Compile and analyze basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, prepares charts, graphs or tables as necessary. Enter data into EZ systems. Assist director in all administrative duties as needed. Receive and respond to routine correspondence following established procedures. Answer telephones, screen calls and forward messages. Open, sort and route mail to the appropriate persons. Operates general office equipment. Travel on any flight if requested. Detailed focus on accurate data entry into Aviation Software

Equipment & Technologies: Typically uses software for flight scheduling and for word processing and spreadsheets. Strong MS PowerPoint skills to create and update presentations. Strong MS Word skills to create documents. Basic MS Excel spreadsheets to input data.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Good judgment and resourcefulness to accomplish tasks effectively. Sense of urgency in meeting customer needs with a caring and positive attitude. Understand the time zone protocol throughout the world and the concept of coordinated universal time. Customer services, project management, problem solving and decision making skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively. Ability to communicate professionally both in writing and verbally Associate Degree or equivalent business experience (bachelor's degree preferred). Two plus years administrative assistant experience OR two plus years of experience in flight operations within the aviation industry or as a crewmember. Some exposure to the flight operations industry
Preferred Job Qualifications Two to five years’ corporate aviation experience preferred. Job Certificate/Licenses: FAA Dispatcher’s License or equivalent business experience. Private Pilot certificate or weather observer license

Note: Aviation training will be provided depending on the candidate's experience. Job Training: Six months to one year OJT depending on background, CAMP/AIS Training Job Screen: Areas of required testing: Federal Aviation Regulations, geography, city codes.
