Was just wondering if anyone out there had any idea about how much one can expect to be paid flying a Cessna 414 on a full-time basis for a company. (flying about 12-15 days a month) How is the pay figured? (i.e. is it aircraft weight, capacity etc...) thanks-

I would guess somewhere around $40,000 - $45,000 per year... Hard to estimate as all the Salary Surveys only go as small as a Turbo-Prop (no piston twins)...

From the Pro Pilot Survey, they show a Conquest II average of $50,000 with a low of $37,000 and a high of $63,000... As you know, a Conquest II is a lot faster, is turbine powered and quite a bit heavier than a C-414... But this is about as similar as I can find for you...

Hope this helps!

I'm currently flying a C414 but in 135 charter. And as you know, our kind generally make less than a bona fide corporate gig. I'm paid a salary for 20 duty days a month + flight time. That would be great if I flew more, but it really stinks with only 15-25 hours a month. I guess I really didn't know what I was getting into. Anyway, in all fairness I think no less than $32,000 would be appropriate for a corporate outfit. Just my .02

Good Luck!
