what documents are sent to an airline? CAL? SWA?

i know all training records from the last 5 years from employers, but what about form 8710 airman applications, medicals, etc?

also, what does an airline consider bad credit? no bankruptcy, but what about a poor beacon score

Some airlines have no problem with bad credit and multiple bankruptcies, why should they care about a pilots?

Larry,
The stuff they get from OKC will not be actual copies of your applications, 8710, etc. but rather just a summary of your certificates, medical status, any violations/enforcements, and the like. You may request a copy of this stuff be sent to you free of charge. I would suggest doing so just to see what all is included in it.

As for credit, I don't know what their standards are. Some places do not run it, but some do. I don't know about CAL or SWA. Unless you were a complete deadbeat and had judgments against you, I would think you'd be fine, but it is a pure guess on my part what they are looking for.

Good Luck.

You ain't a real pilot if you haven't barfed on your credit score at least once! School loans, low paying CFI, Low paying new hire regional airline pilot....
