Couldn't see too well from the C-concourse, but what was the deal with what looked like a CRJ off the taxiway in a ditch by the F gates?

SkyWest - "Bet they wish they had ALPA now!"

Mesa/Air Wisconsin - "ALPA will save thier jobs!"

"Hold my beer.... Ya'll watch this!" was heard emminating from the cockpit right before it entered the ditch.

Chick Pilot.

It was SkyWest. 50 seat gray-top...with gray nacelles...I think we are the only United Express carrier with that particular color combo(on the CRJ...I know TSA has ERJs with gray nacelles). We were holding short of 32L at T10 wondering what might have happened. Didn't see it happen. Figured it was something like steering failure...:)
