No crap! The only thing I dread about coming into work is if I'm gonna get paired up with a Capt. Whinypants today or not. Nobody likes flying with them unless they themselves are incessant crybabies. When will these people understand that I'm not their $#%@^ wife and am under no obligation to listen to them. Wanna go to the hotel bar after the trip sir? Sorry, I'm tired.

I just wish people like AMANSWORLD and the other whiners would take the advice of this article and move to "greener pastures".

What do you want then, sympathy?

Got a memo for "voluntary overtime" today at 150%. Someone will pick it all up. Because they make crap wages or need to pad their bank account if we have a make believe strike again for the 6th time.
All that post was is a simple joke at ASA management or lack there of. I do not know about most you on this board, but I did vote for a strike and I expect a contract to be completed very soon-(read next month at latest). People have lives at this company that do- believe it or not revolve outside of all so wonderful world of the airlines. I love flying do not get me wrong, but I will not continue to be someones whipping post so they can continue to make more bonuses by staving off a contract.
The time has come for contact or walkout -very simple. I know some agree and some do not. People say just leave if you do not like it. Well some of us have been here awhile and may not be able to leave due to age (not me) or some of us CANNOT leave because we have no flight time or PIC so we go to Skywest (not me). And some of us actually believe this could be a very good long-term company should it be run affectively from both a management standpoint(not current management) and pilot representation (not necessarily ALPA either- ALPA needs to step up here we are in checkmate) and no I did not support the fab 4 either.
With all that said it is time for a put up or shut up time for the company after this round of negotiations.

...I whine when the coffee is deffered...

...and there is never any porn in the RJ either...ugh...

In the real world this is great when you hate your job because you can leave and most likely make a HIGHER wage but only in aviation is it where you leave and you make LESS then you did before.
