Anyone have any insight on this one?

I am wondering if this is one of those jobs, like many others, that when it is posted on the corporate web site it has already been filled.

Emailed and faxed a resume and cover letter about a 10 days ago. Nothing yet.

Could anyone with the NBAA guide post the contact info? Sounds like a good job if you like the Mid-Atlantic region.

I got an e-mail from them today requesting me to fill out an on-line survey so they could process me further for the position, but the link for the survey did not work. I left a voicemail for the management recruiter that sent the e-mail, but he was already gone for the weekend.

I guess that's decent news, at least it wasn't the old thanks but no thanks... :)

Yea I think the e-mail was sent to everyone that applied. I'd be curious to know how many applications they received. I'll bet its in the thousands.

i doubt its in the thousands..if you dont live close why bother trying. i dont think they will hire someone out of state. if anyone gets the job on here let us know...good luck to all.

Do they have a history of only hiring local candidates? I would think it is at least worth filling out the survey, it certainly doesn't cost anything. I've seen plenty of major corporations hiring from well outside their own geographical area.

i guess they could hire outside the state. i was just trying to get a feel if anyone is local that applied for the job.....

Nope. After completing the survey I don't expect to either since all of my time is in the -700 with no -800 or challenger time.

Arn't they looking for an FO or Captain?

If they actually want time in those two models to fly as a copilot, than I guess I don't have much of a shot.

I haven't heard back either.

I live in the area, but I not sure why that would be decisive. I applied, got the e-mail over the weekend and nothing else. Captboy, why are you so intent on finding out if someone in the area applied?

I don't have an in at NS, but was told second hand that the company gives zero credit to personal recommendations from within. Also, they are supposedly intent upon finding someone type rated in both aircraft. That counts me out. :(
