well thats just hunky-dory for you LC130, but not everyone has the same chance to do it that way are. there are quite a few eliminating factors that could be well beyond a persons control that will not allow them to participate in the training the military has to offer. dont discount the civilian route just because you are lucky enough to not need it

I agree...I lost my AFROTC scholarship because of a single entry of asthma in my medical records from when I was 14, despite a 3.8 GPA, excellent CO reviews, passing a pulmonary test and a 420/500 on the PFT. The job I *thought* I had vaporized before my eyes. Oh well, such is life, maybe I'll get a shot at KYANG when I graduate.

Now that I've throughly hijacked this thread - Good luck FlyBunny. If the interview goes well and you get the job, good for you. Get your time, help raise the bar in the next contract, and run the fugg away from Mesa as fast as you can to greener pastures.

FlyBunny...
Check your personal messages. Good luck... It's tough looking for Mesa advice on this board as a lot of us feel we lost our jobs and lost ground in working conditions due, in part, to Mesa. Don't take it too personal!

how many females Mesa have as pilots?

One last thing...
Women pilots are 3% of the industry... Do the math...
There are not a lot of female pilots anywhere! Don't expect preferential treatment, it doesn't exsist and when it does it pisses other people off.
Hopefully you have realized this by now?
Hope you like men and talking sports! ((Go Pats!)
Welcome to the airlines...
