I blame the ground weenies. They knew better and were being complacent..... they didn't think what COULD OF HAPPENED.
This FO and Capt were and still in my book awesome folks. I accredit them to quick thinking and saving a ac full of folks . They were calm , cool. and really knew how to handle the entire situation...... which included.......... calming a full ac.
I had one Capt that grounded 3 ac in day............ he must of had a microscope because this guy could find a needle in the haystack.. and guess what???? GOOD FOR HIM..... he always thought safety first.
I can't think of any Shuttle Pilot that didn't..... IMHO [/QUOTE
