This might sound a little crazy but I am mostly a lurker. Lowecure provides huge entertainment with his posts. Are they flamebait? I don't know but he gets hammered almost every post and he keeps coming back with that goofy look on his avitars face. That takes character and I respect that. His posts are usually informative and often on breaking news in our industry. I have to say I often hear it first from Lowecure. Then everybody piles on and that is usually really funny.

I know he says he's in the insurance business but I don't know. I think he's either David Gardner (the Motley Fool) or a B6 pilot.

Am I the only closet Lowecure fan??

He (and I am just assuming a he) is entertaining from the perspective that if you really read into his posts that you can tell that he isn't in the aviation business because of conclusions he comes to. That you get from actually working in the trenches and doing battle with the enemy so to speak! I have been on here a little over a year now and it seems like he likes to pick on SWA but maybe he just picks on everybody. I know SWA pretty well and he has been wrong on allot of his assumptions. The reason for that is he gets all his information from the media or reads it on line. Some is right but allot of it is wrong. I also think he gets a charge out of getting into pilots knickers and likes to stir the pot to see what kind of a reaction he gets. Why else would a so called insurance salesman hang out on a Pilot discussion board?

I like lowecur too. I enjoy how instantly people spin up on his posts and he never seems to respond in kind. As for his guesses on the industry he is as right as anybody. No one has any idea what is going to happen, particularly pilots. You can hear something from the chief of training during recur and three months later it is 180 out on company plans (i.e. las, bna, tpa as crew bases) United was even worse, especially in bankruptcy. Any how I enjoy your posts lowecur, Merry Christmas.

Yes it's all tongue in cheek. Obviously I have no idea how to fly a plane, but that doesn't stop me from voicing my unadulterated opinions on those that take themselves too seriously. As an investor, I do know a little about this industry........sooo some of my prognostications come with the experience of doing my homework.
