Does anybody know of a place around JFK where a crewmember can get a good rate? I called our company's hotel, the Doubletree JFK, and the crew rate was $140!

I stayed a few stops down on the airtrain at a Days Inn (I think, or similar). Was about 80-90 bucks. Worked really well. I found them on orbitz or expedia. Called them directly to ask about a crew rate, was about the same as the advertised low rate, maybe a few dollars cheaper.

Good luck.

The Hampton Inn JFK was $99 for the JetBlue rate. I told them I was interviewing and they gave me the rate. Had to be persistent though they kept transferring me to the national reservations line and after going back and forth they finally found the rate. Came to about $113 with taxes. Caught a cab with 3 other guys to the JetBlue building we each paid 5 bucks each. The hotel will set it up for you if you ask.
