Just throwing this out there...........

Received a company e-mail stating the pilot application window will open on September 1, 2011.

I was a corporate guy for 18 years until I made the jump to the airlines 4 years ago. It wouldn`t be fair to discourage someone from considering the jump from 91/135 to 121. I certainly enjoyed my tenure flying corporate, but having days off without worrying if the boss will call is pretty nice.

Hope some of you corporate guys apply.
 
I know quite a few corporate guys that made the switch... all say the same thing. I guess it all depends on your company, where you live, and what "flying" lifestyle" you choose. I've done both, prefer the corporate, but will keep an open-mind to go back 121.
 
Got the same email. Had it been AA i'd been a little more excited. The concept of sitting right seat for 12yrs at JB doesnt blow my hair back. Thanks for the update though, good luck everyone-
 
Just my opinion but when legacy carriers begin hiring I think JB will see a fair amount of attrition, thus creating movement. At least that's what my crystal ball says...
 
Schedule as a lineholder is better than just having a few hard days off. Schedule on reserve would suck beyond belief.

Airline flying is so boring I'm starting to mumble to myself. Corporate flying can be TOO exciting when things change quickly and you are supposed to make it look like you were aware of the changes 5 days ago.

Thank you for the heads up! I've often thought about this move to Jet Blue.
