I'm gettin' ready to rotate into Deadhorse, Alaska for another four days of fuel shuttles to Inigok (an exploratory drill site about 90 SE of Barrow).

I thought it'd be a pretty good idea to check the weather before I pack (as if it'd make a bit of difference...)

dan when are you going north and to what part?

I'm thinking early March (after my bro's b-day). I've got family in Anchorage, with a car I can borrow. So I'll fly up to Bethel (beleive it or not, I've lived in more rural areas than Bethel), and I'll drive to at least Fairbanks, and possibly parts south.

It really depends on how long I can talk my current boss out of (and I'm not telling him I'm going to find flying jobs), and how much money I can stash by then.
