$144,000

Built in 2002, this 3 Bedroom/2 Bath, 2094 square foot home in Keller, Texas is 22 minutes from DFW airport; or 29 minutes to Remote South Parking. For those commuting out of Alliance Airport (AFW), time to the field is less than 10 minutes. The community is constructed next to a horse ranch and has a private paved strip on the other side. (Work a deal with your new neighbors and park your plane perhaps?)

This home is also less than 10 minutes from Roanoke, TX where you can get your Class I flight physical done for $35 through Dr. Brad Griffin, and then celebrate your sweet DEFPOTEC skill with an cholesterol coated meal at Babe's Chicken Dinner House.

As the realtor says:
"Lovely home in Keller features open floor plan, island kitchen, spacious living areas with optional study/gameroom, separate garden tub/shower in master bath, ceramic tile, custom blinds, ceiling fans, surround sound, close to pool & park, structure warranty."

Thanks for the reply,

Taxes for 2005 were $3,967.80 (Texas has to make it up somewhere for the lack of state income tax), with the highest percentage going to the Keller School district (1.651900).

As for renting it, as I'm no expert, I'd have to guess somewhere in the neighborhood (no pun intended) of 1100-1400.

And for those interested in the Keller school system:

That rent figure is about right...i lived in Keller for 17 of my 23 years...Nice place. Just look out for those dang cops. They are the worst. Nice house and not a bad price considering the area.

Thanks CAP10B,

I have relatives in SAT, that why I asked about the taxes. You are right, we pay our taxes oneway or another. I'm considering purchasing another texas property. Right now with relatives in SAT i've recently purchased there, yet your home is a real bargain for an investment

Thanks bobs98tlr for the local experiences on rentals and the cops. As far as your local law enforcement, when you need them you can't live without them and when you don't need them your more than likely writing them a check. Ouch....

thanks for the info.......8sm
