Yeap, it tells me that you chose the wrong pony in 88
Dude...be careful with that....some carriers look real good sometimes...then one bad decision by mgmt...and "poof" the spiral starts.....
...and that bad decision has nothing to do with pilots.
general/737/degree mill bill,
Seriously no need to get testy and jealous. The day when you no longer have to sling gear and talk on the radio will one day arrive. When that day comes you'll have all the time you need to physically attend a real institution of higher learning and get a real degree...not just one you pay for and they send you in the mail. Just remember though, a real institution of higher learning won't give you "credit" for "life experience". Sorry bout that. Till then....
6.7 ba ba BILLION!
See ya!
And this just last year......I was dead set on keeping ALPA on the property. That is until you began to chime in. Thanks for changing my mind and voting ALPA out. You deserve a medal.
Never said I take it for granted. As you pointed out I'm "training PSA pilots since I'm a J4J Capt." Looks like I'm taking advantage of it.
This will end out conversation on this matter

Somehow we all knew this wouldn't be the case haha.

Your actions against my AWA pilot group have tested my Christian ethics and morals on a daily basis. What is most important is rarely discussed on this site.
that post was not written by me but my united roommate in dc who wanted to post
So your roommate posts on Flight Info pretending to be you by using your handle/password - which you must have lovingly supplied. How so very sweetuke: - obviously you two really like each other.
PS. MCDU Disclaimer. All of my less enthusiastically received postings were made by: alter egos/ other persons/ third parties/ gypsies/ schizophrenic entities/ aliens/ dc bed buddies/ gerbil loving butt jockeys/ and are therefore not of my doing or responsibility. Please understand that persons posting using my handle aren't me, they simply have both my handle and password and are pretending to be me.
Man, you must have let him post a lot. Here your United roommate in dc in Sep 2006 asking if JetBlue has career FOs...is his name Marty also?that post was not written by me but my united roommate in dc who wanted to post
The reason I am asking is that at my prior airline we had a couple of FO's that were not able to pass their Captain upgrade and were let go after their second try. Two that I know now fly for JetBlue.
At United we have at least 500 permanent FO's. What happens if you can not upgrade at Blue?
Curious minds want to know?
Marty
back in SFO
as Marty. the United pilot commenting on the USAir merger:We got a of ton of scabs at United. Now that Miami is closed they are all over the place. Half of the former crews in MIA where Scabs.
So I guess some do not the history of United, because we and Continental are a Scab haven.
Thank you
Marty
Marty, the United pilot who is MCDU's roommate at the crashpad in dc, about his ORD base:USAir was not going out of business. USAir was in better shape then your 1980's startup airline. I had America West Capt. in my new hire class in 1994 and he said that Americas Worst was going to shut down or merged.
Americas Worst is and was a joke. I am just glad you guys merged with AAA. My worst nightmare was when every one speculated United and Americas Worst were going to merge.
Americas Worst=Bottom feeder were the turn over rate was so big, you had classes every week to fill the attrition in the late 90's.
Marty
Here, Marty the United pilot, is talking about furloughed USAir guys in his crashpad...in ORD or DC?I guess all the America West pilots furloughed had little chance of ever flying a jet again, so did the United pilots on furlough. Every dam legacy carrier furloughs pilots some time during their time. A furlough is part of your career progression. Some get lucky, but usually most pilots have a furlough some time in their career. Just ask some senior UA pilots on the 747-400 on how long they were on furlough. That did not mean the end of their career.
Some younger pilots do not understand, that just because you are furloughed, it does not mean you do not have expectations of flying the highest paid equipment. I was hired at 27 and spent 4 years on furlough and now I am Capt. on the 320 based in ORD and could hold 767 international Ccapt. So as you see, a furlough does not mean the end of the world.
Peace
Marty
here again is Marty the United pilot in Jan 2007, but now his hire date changed from 1994 to 1993:You can none rev with USair East. Parents as well. No time limit. So says some of the guys in my crashpad who are furloughed USAir.
Marty
here we are now finally as Marty the USAir pilot flying from PHL-TPA in March 2008:CAL is getting ready to merge with United. I think their might be furloughs or some stagnation. Where would a 1993 DOH put me at CAL.
Marty
Tell that to the number one guy at USAIR EAST. Had him on my J/S PHL to TPA. DOH 01/23/1973. He hates ALPA and cannot wait to vote for USAPA. The top 500 are almost all going to vote out ALPA and they did get their DOH. So no, its not all about the flawed list that shows active pilots holding positions as ALPA officers as furloughed even though they were holding union positions. How is that possible?Alpa says you can not be furloughed and hold a ALPA position like treasurer. WTF
