I want to buy a good GPS to take along in any small airplane I fly. Anyone out there have good experience with some of the later models available. Looking at the Garmin 295 or the one that goes on the Ipaq (palm pilot).
I've got a Bendix/King KLX-100. It's the GPS/Handheld COM combo. It would be perfect for an experimental or other light plane. You can plug it into the A/C Electrical system and have batteries in it for backup. It also has a connector so you can plug your headset into it.
