To anyone interested, this link will get you started www.toyota.com. Go to About Toyota, Careers, and search under captain or first officer. They are looking for 2 PICs, 1 SIC, and 1 FA. All of the minimums are on the website. Sorry I don't have any more detailed information, I just found this recently. Good luck everyone!

This is the second time in as many months they've run the ad.

FYI

From what I've heard, Toyota used to pay top dollar. Anyone know what the deal is? I already live 40 min. from Columbus...TC

I wasn't sure how to take this line...does that mean you're considering trading in that G550 for the G300?! Which side of Indy do you live on?

Trust me, it ain't about what you fly... When you get into the 4 digit flight times, you'll understand... ;)

(Congrats on the 999.9 hours!)

LOL!

I've just got so much to learn...if only I had one more tenth, then everything would be so clear!

Thanks!
If you're lucky, tomorrow evening after I've logged that one more tenth, I will bestow some of my new-found knowledge upon you.

To quote another TWA miscreant: "I'd fly a barn door if they paid me $200k a year to do it...". Or an equivalent quantity of barbeque...

Wonder why they got a 300 instead of a 350. Do they have GIV's? The 300 is just a remarketed GIV. Anyone know anyone who works for Toyota in LGB?TC

Just out of curiosity I last heard that Toyota was putting at least one G in Cleveland...anyone else heard that? Was this the one?

I got the standard HR e-mail back today. They said to make sure my resume was attached and because they have a huge number of respondants, I might not hear from them unless I'm really, really well qualified.

I'll keep you updated...TC

P.S.--I think this aircraft was to be based in Cleveland but they couldn't get anyone to move there so they based it in Columbus, IN instead. :D

Tell 'em when they base one in Tampa, Orlando, or Daytona.....give me a call, I'll consider working for 'em then. Until then...tell them to QUIT BUGGING ME! :D

Yes, Cleveland to Colombus is not a noticable improvement. However, Val is right that there are alot of great alternatives to actually living in BAK. Greenwood is 20-25 minutes away and is on Indy's doorstep. There is the Brown County State Park another 20 minutes away along with IU 45 mins and Purdue 1:30. I'm hoping that none of you want to be here, though, so my odds are tremendously improved!!!! Good luck to all.

hey if that doesnt work, you could always go work for Rhoades;)

Wow.....you just made me appreciate my current job......

Does anyone know anyone who works for Toyota's corporate department? Pay? Working conditions? Thanks.TC

Ahhhh...

I was just messing around the Toyota job site and pulled up the Columbus job listing.

It has changed. The listing used to not say anything about being typed in the G300/GIV... Now, it does.

"Qualifications

Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate type rating is required"

I guess they want to keep the G550 riff-raff out... :p TC

Pay and Bennies

I can't speak for the aviation dept. but my son works in the assembly plant at Princeton, In. plant and he knocks down 50K+ and has the best benefits that I've seen in a long time.
