In an attempt to not be the last Beech Pilot at Colgan, I have turned in my resignation for greener pastures. I will probably be following in the footsteps of Druglord and Cornholio (aka Skippy). I will miss the "Union Meetings", the bitching and moaning and some of the best guys I ever met. Thanks to The elder statesmen, and Lisa, at BHB who taught me how to fly the Beech.

and Lisa, at BHB who taught me how to fly the Beech.

I hear she taught you a little more than how to "fly" the beech. :D

I'm glad you got out of that place! Good luck and keep in touch!!!

Take-offs and landings too....

I should have mentiioned Chper, Mung, Bskin and the many others who i will miss as well. I just don't know their names here.

Fly on Cap'n Lucky and be free. Hopefully your going to an RJ. I'm outta here myself, 3 more weeks! Citrus beckons!

being that us air is under and mesa or some other company is buying usair . colgan probly will lose there contract . lay you off anyways .

jetops,

Not that I really care anymore, but not true. They (Colgan) might not treat the pilot force too good, but they do know what to do business-wise. They are the only USAirways express company making money, and they will have an agreement with another carrier, at least for most of their present routes, should (when) USAirways falls.

I'm Right behind ya Lucky!!!

Yep Even Tony here is packing up and headed for Something better but not til July. Good luck and may you get the RJ.

Will the last Colgan Pilot to leave please turn out the lights!

Glad to have ya lucky, can't wait to see ya here in ric. Bskin, hey doesn't your MD-80 type count for the 717. Isn't that the same? Anywho good luck again. perhaps we can all take vcation at the motel in PQI this winter....whatdya reckon?

I get your gist, but were you drunk when you posted that?

Whew, I'm glad someone else noticed. I thought I was drunk reading it.

I also think jetops may be drunk, but he also may be from a liberal euro country or some other country that has communism.

He resents the fact that a private company can make money and benefit the owners of that company financially. He thinks all workers should get what the owners of a company get, just for showing up at work with a hand held out..."feed me" he says.

Only USAir Express company to be making money???? Are you sure about that?

Hey Neil Diamond (aka Jetops)

Why don't you get back to your six pack and internet porn. :)

If it isn't you then my bad.

I do know what you're saying and agree in part. The Colgans shouldn't be instituting a company wide pay freeze on the employees because they're suddenly unable to finish that million dollar home or make that Jag payment.

BTW, I did work there and am thankful to have found gainful employment after a furlough, but I would not ever consider returning.
