any one please help

have a friend getting ready to apply and if you know what they ask for the phone interview would be great. and what would be a good answer. need to try and help him out thx...

This is what they asked me 6 weeks ago.

1. Passenger complains to you about your hard landing, what do you do?
2. You are due to depart in 2 hours and there are currently thunderstorms over your destination, what are you going to do?
3. How would you provide excellent customer service to ExpressJet customers?
4. How many times would your employer say you were late in last 12 months."

Then when they get the call from Dawn she will ask this

Yes or no

passport
fcc radio lic.
social security card
37 hours of actual inst. (must have act.not hood)
driver lic. valid (i think)
1000total/200multi do not apply if you are 10 hours or even 2 short of either
and i think that is it

Props

The questions are:

1) Do you mind working for free?
2) Are you willing to share your wife with the CEO on weekends?
3) Will you agree to not pick up food stamps in uniform?
4) Just for fun, we have pilots come to corporate luncheons and wrestle monkeys in the nude. Are you willing to participate in this activity?

The previous post is way to cynical. Yet the sarcasm is as painfully obvious as a windscrean full of airplane.

Yeah, Cynic always adds so much to conversations on these boards. He is a wealth of knowledge and everyone should listen to and respect him. I have all of his posts saved on my PC and I re-read thim every day. Cynic, can I write your life story? I'm sure everyone here would want a copy.....

Got turned down again huh dickhead?

XJT or CFI forever...tough decision huh??

that "60" number is a hard number. it's also one of the questions dawn asks you when she contacts you for the second phone interview.

Cynic,
You have pilot wisdom beyond your experience. Thanks for the hilarious post. Those should be the questions asked of each private pilot applicant who hints at the idea of being a professional pilot.
Snafu,
My serious answers to the xjet q's posed at the beginning of the thread...
1. blame the weather w/ a smile... if they need further refer them to customer service agent, or someone trained to deal w/ customers because you're not (you learned this @ a retail job)
2. Thunderstorms can change a lot in 2 hrs. I'd wait to decide anything because of that, then confer with people who know more than I do (dispatch, capt). "I'm only an fo, here to learn and of course i'll say something when i'm uncomfortable."
3. i'll provide excellent service by always getting the customer to their destination as safely and on schedule as possible. ... Because I'll show up on time and compliant w/ far's ans XJet policies
4. Your employer wouldn't say that ypu were late in the last 12 months, or ever for that matter... because you've told your employer or they already know that that's the answer.

Tell your "friend" good luck...
