Dulles Airport Hotel - Close to Udvar Hazy

Looking for a hotel near Dulles for later this month. Perferably something within walking or short taxi distance to the Udvar Hazy museum.

Most everything I find on Expedia is over $180/night. Quite a bit sold-out as well. Anybody have any recommendations?

Ouch.....

It cost $12 clams to park at the Udvar Hazy place....

There is the Leesburg Holiday Inn that was the cheapest.... not sure what the current rates are... And they may only take you to the airport...

Is there transportation from IAD to the museum?

What about renting a guest room from a ol' Indy pilot?

nah, i'll be on an overnight. Parking at Landmark. We'll let the company pick up the tab. Just figured i'd try and save them a few bucks (job security and whatnot) and hopefully still find a way to get over to the museum.

Maybe the hotel shuttle or the FBO can drop you off....

Bring your credit card for the gift shop and food court!!

It has been a little over a year since I was last there but at the time the KIAD Hilton would shuttle you over for $5.00 return. That is cheaper than parking at the museum. Hilton is not a shabby room either.
