Stay at the Hilton. Really really nice place but very expensive. Hell, all of Cabo is expensive. Besides laying by pool, playing golf, going downtown to party, and of course drink the place is really kinda boring.

cabo suckkkkssss really bad. we stayed at the crown which is all inclusive and it was nice, but the overall island sucks i was ready to hang myself after day 1. i prefer the eastern caribbean

Cabo is an island? :erm:

Maybe you are confusing it with Cozumel...

Dude!

Stay over in San Jose Del Cabo. Its just a scary 20 minute bus ride to Cabo San Lucas. San Jose is a lot slower atmosphere. Kick back on the beach, drink a cervesa, then wander over to the greatest place on earth. The "[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular]Los Barriles de Cuervo - Tequila Store" is awesome. Some of the best small batch tequila you will ever have!! And they have a sample table!! I picked up a bunch of their house brand tequila, and it was ********************ING FANTASTIC. Smooth as silk, with no burn at all. They will even sell it to you in a 2 liter wooden barrel. (That was it will keep ageing, and getting better and better!)

The website with the address is. http://www.loscabosguide.com/shopping/losbarrilescuervo.htm

I just got back from Cabo a week ago. We stayed at the Villa del Palmar which is only a mile down from the harbor...an easy walk or short cab ride. Cruise ships come in almost every day with tons of people that hang out on the beach near the harbor. Down by our resort it was more laid back and not as many people around. The opening scene from the Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed on the outmost rock that separates the Pacific Ocean from the Sea of Cortez (near Lover's Beach). Cabo Wabo, The Zoo, and Squid Roe are nice bars / clubs to go to at night...and none charge cover. The weather there is amazing, beaches are nice, and the females are everywhere. Think about taking a fishing trip, going snorkeling, or taking a cruise around the cove. Hopefully Sammy Hagar will be at Cabo Wabo and play a few songs.

Dont listen to them los Cabos rocks, i caught a 150lb marlin and a mess of tuna, ate like a king. hooked up at the local bar the gigling marlin. drank lots of tequila and overall had a kick ass time. And its not a freaking island that shows you how much they know about it. you can also get all fun presciption drugs in every store.

If you like to just hang at a resort, and don't mind taking cabs or bus, the Hilton, Dreams, etc..are very nice.

If you want laid back walk-to-tow places, any of the hotels in San Jose Del Cabo are fine...

If you like the kick-a$$ night life, want to be able to walk to those places and stagger back, ANY of the hotels at the marina downtown Cabo are fine places. Marina Fiesta, Tesoro, etc...
