Just taking a survey of who has the best completion / refurbisment company for corporate aircraft.

Do they also do maintenance?

How is their customer service?

What did you like most / worst?

There is a company in Lincoln, NE next to Duncan. I can't remember the name but they did great work for us. The only down side was they were 8 days later than agreed on completion. I think the name might be Hill but I'm not sure. Maybe someone can help me out.

8 days late on completion??

thats WEEKS early!!!

Dassault, Little Rock, AR. Completed as per the contract, on time, squawk free. Customer service was excellent.

The only negative was that our end number got lost in FAA he!! and we had to fly with a temp for a couple of months.

On the positive, we wrote up over 100 squawks when showed up in Little Rock. Every night they had an entire crew taking care of the airplane fixing whatever squawks we had.

The place in Lincoln Ne is Hill Aero. They painted our Citation II and did the interior. Did a very good job. Paint is 3 years old now and still looks great. Once a year we can fly in there and they will touch up any rivets or anything else that may need to be touched up for free. We have only done this once as the paint is holding up nicely. They were about a week or so late on completion. We have recieved many nice comments about the paint when flying around.

Gulfstream @ Appleton Wisc.

You bet your asscot

Not to bad if you can get passed the whole cheesehead deal!
and providing you like BBQ & Beer & Firearms & Harleys you will get along just fine!

Likey the best????.....they bought most of the beer
Likey the wurst????........sucks to be in maintainance just about anywhere you go specialy at Dallas airmotive

Garrett Aviation, Springfield, Illinois.... (SPI) They are one of the best overall maintenace/completion facilities in the U.S. The have a very nice facility with very knowledgeable personnel.. But they are also one of the most expensive... You get what you pay for, though!

Has anyone ever heard of McKinney Aerospace?

How are they doing?

Yes, I've heard of them, that's Butch Smith and his outfit at Collin County Region near Dallas. They're a good organization and doing fine.

But they're not as good as Gulfstream at Appleton, WI. I did the Completion Test flights on their first G-IV (Tom Cruise's airplane) just after the Big G bought them and it had zero interior squawks. Amazing!

We did several re-rags at Midcoast in St Louis. Their baseball team isn't that great, but they do a heck of a job refurbishing airplanes.
