buy the red book. memorize the answers-skip the W&B. You can prepare in 1-2 days - easy.

a weekend course on the ATP written? you have GOT TO BE SCHITTIN ME?....

Did someone say its a HARD test?? HELLO...they GIVE you all the answers before you go in....!!! How hard is that??

Oh, and I agree - anything more than a 70% does not matter.

:D :D

i did it with ALLATPS. took me 4 hours twenty mins...... four hours study, 20 mins to take the test.. in and out easiest way possible.. or you could study the book for 40 hours and get the same result.

good luck

I am in the process of studing for it the hard way. I am in week 6 of study mode and I score an average of 80% on the practice test.
Wish me luck

I'd also recommend the ALL ATP guys. Started at 0800, done by lunch with a 92 and hadn't cracked a book before that morning. They also pare down the question bank considerably.

It is more expensive ($250), but you can write it off on your taxes and there's a lot to be said for not wasting 6 weeks studying a lot of irrelevant material.

Topgun - I'm surprised you had that much trouble... as someone said, they give you all the answers. BTW, an AMRAAM launch is a "Fox-3." Thought you'd like to know.

Buy the Gleim, study each chapter for 2 to 3 hours, that will take you two days max and than go take the test, saving 250 bucks.

It's not that frikin hard.
I am not the britest 737 typed ATP around and I did it in 3 days.

I spelled that rong on purpus, and what the he!! did you do to score that low, you must have tried to do the weight and balance and performance questions, I told you just to put B.

i failed it 3 times and finally passed on the 4th attempt.

Holy crap. Why would you admit that? Someone took the short bus to flight school.

"Yaaaay, I got my ATP, Yaaaaaay!" "Do you know any slow or special people?"
