Did ATA have their own sims in Indy? 73/75 and Tristar? If not whom did they use? Thanks for the info. Double post cause of not sure where they fell under any more, LCC or Charter.

Depends on when and what airplane. Between about 2003 and 2006 we had our own 737-800 sim in Marietta GA and 757 sim in PHX at the AWA facility. There were plans at one time to build our own training facility in MDW but that never came to be. We also at one time owned half a L1011 sim with BWIA iirc at MIA's Pan Am facility. The rest of the sims were rented from airlines. 737 from DAL in ATL. 757 from NWA in MSP, AWA in PHX, UPS in SDF. L1011 from DAL in ATL. DC10 from a sim facility in MEM shared by FedEx and others. Needless to say we had a lot of middle of the night periods.
