He does not hate pilots, he just thinks they are paid too much to do a job that many will do for free. He thinks of himself as a line pilot, and he was, back when the Metro was state of the art. He is so far out of touch with line reality, you will love it. When SLC was getting pasted a few years back, over the Christmas season, he actually came out to fly a couple of turns. He actually authored a company e-mail thanking us for flying during a "difficult" time. Truth be told, it was a slightly crappier than normal day at the office kind of day for SLC. In comparison it was nothing compared to ORD during a heavy precip operations, kind of day. Like I said earlier, you will just love him, google "death by a thousand cuts" and you will understand. Good luck, you are gonna need it.
