Twin crash
We were shown the full video of that aircraft's demonstration in our Accident Investigation class. The aircraft was performing loops, rolls, and various other aerobatic maneuvers. Throughout the routine, the announcer (who happened to be the pilot's wife) repeatedly referred to the plane as "non-aerobatic." From what we were told, the aircraft was the pilot's design, and he was trying to get it type-certificated. There were FAA representatives watching the demo. The aircraft was performing for (if i remember correctly) about 10-15 minutes before that part of the video. At that point, the plane was just recovering from a dive, and had just been overstressed too much so that little bit caused the airframe to fail.
Hope that helps somewhat.
