Yes, I can tell you to expect it to last a year, which is how long it takes EJM to piss off the customer and for them to leave with their plane.

Where do you get that info? I have a friend who has been with EJM for 5 or 6 years and works either a 7/7 or 8/6 schedule. Plus, he is off whenever his a/c is in maintenance. Seems to me like he never works.

This is not a job working for EJM. This is a charter-managed aircraft. Big difference. Typically, the aircraft owner gets into it because he/she's been told they'll actually make money off owning their aircraft if they charter it. With only two crew members on the aircraft...well, you do the math.

If this was actually working for EJM, flying a plane owned by EJM, then I'd be in agreement with you. But, do they even own any of their own planes anymore?

Yes, you'll have time off when the aircraft is in maintenance, but try booking a vacation around that one.

Been there, done that, won't do it again.

I was on an EJM managed aircraft - EJM promised owner we could fly 600 hours a year(300 owner, 300 charter) with 2 of us - that's right 2 (TWO) pilots. I think we got 8 days "off" a month - "off" meant a 6 hour call out instead of the usual 1 hour call out. And yes - we were "asked" to schedule our vacations around aircraft maint.! PM me if you want specific info.
