HealthSouth used to be the big dog at BHM, they had their own air force which included two GV's and was run by a general officer. But they've fallen on hard times - I think they're down to a light jet and a turbo-prop. I think Drummond and McWane are the only Gulfstream operators on the field. Amsouth has a couple of G200's. There are a bunch of Lear operators there - SunTrust, Harbert, and O'Neal Steel, a few Citation operators and some outfits with KingAirs and smaller, but I don't think there is anyone there to replace HealthSouth.
Rumor has it that there may be a couple of openings at Brassfield & Gorrie.
I could not confirm this. I think that they operate an Ultra and a couple of CJ's.
There's a air ambulance hawker 800 in birmingham with a company called air med or something like that... look up climbto350 in the search and it should bring up them they have called me a couple of times to interview and I did not gogood luck
They have 2 aircraft now and 5 pilots. Citaiton X and Citation Encore. Not looking for anyone currently. They aren't doing much flying.

Brasfield & Gorrie...
Big shake up recently with firings...so yes they were looking for a couple of pilots I was told. As of yesterday I was told they were looking for a couple of guys. They are a great company to fly for and great people. Early mornings but great department with a good new chief pilot. Fly a Citation Ultra and CJ's

That's all I've heard about recently. I'm pretty confident that Harbert isn't hiring and I know O'Neal isn't.
