August 23rd 2012. A damn good day to be an Allegiant Pilot.

Finally a workable solution.

Here here!

And another pilot group surrenders their glorious Direct Relationship in favor of Third Party representation.

Dummies....:p

5 years before you see a pay raise or any improvement in working conditions. Minimum.

Baby steps backward maybe. It better go smooth or there will be a big storm to decertify. Don't think it can't happen, the teamsters have a great track record of being booted out.

Your pay without a union was higher than Spirit with a union and a strike, why in the world would you want to vote in a union knowing that? Enjoy your current benefits for the next 6-8 years with no increase in pay or benefits, oh and the Teamsters charge more than ALPA for dues, so in essence you will have an immediate pay cut.

With a 56-44 split, I see this as a real possibility a year from now.

Actually the total compensation package at G4 is NOT better than Spirit. Hourly rates do not tell the whole story. IMO, if G4 pilots had an agreement with work rules anywhere near what Spirit currently enjoys (industry average at best) a union drive wouldn't have even made it to a vote!
