Being fired for no reason other than being a dues paying, LINE PILOT who happens to be in his/her first year! This would be the most classless act I could imagine. Just imagine having to tell future employers you were fired from a 121 carrier. I have a little more pride and respect for my company than this.....I hope I am not proven otherwise!

This is a perfect storm of circumstances that will probably not come out very good in the end for anybody. I understand that hard decisions have to be made but the thing that separates people during hard times is how they treat others. If this company continues with the classless and illegal actions against its pilot group then it is not a place I want to work at anyway. I continue to see management take bonuses and pay raises while expecting employees to take cuts. They violate and threaten to violate the contract instead of trying to find ways to help employees and in turn help the company succeed. I am really unhappy with the whole situation. I hope this is not the direction the company will chose to continue to take. It sucks that you have to hope that management will do the right thing.
