Looking for a good place (prefer in Arizona) to get a 320 PC done or a circle to land restriction removed.. anyone have any ideas?

thanks

To get a Circle to Land Restriction removed the Sim center has to have an approved program to do just that. I do not know of any center that has that approved course. But, you can always rent an A319,-320,-or 321 aircraft to fly and have it removed by a DPE or Inspector.

Are you talking 121, 135, or 61.58 PC?

121, for a job in india that wants it removed.. It's odd that they even put it on in the 1st place.. my other types, including the MD11 had a circle to land included in the checkride.

Sure, I agree circling below VFR is stupid mind you.

Hear PanAm does it for $3200

To NOT get a circling restriction you must get training in circling and it must be part of the exam. If either is not there then you get the restriction. Many carriers do not do circling approaches any more so everyone gets the restriction.

PanAm may have a program to take away the restriction, I do not know. Give them a call.

Can you rent a A320??? - If you have enough cash -someone will rent out the aircraft. It maybe at their location with their Check Airman/instructor in the other seat but it can be done.

thanks JAFI... I'm in touch with PanAm now.
