[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]This position will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the FAA and Jet Aviation[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Responsibilities:[/FONT][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] Services, repairs and overhauls aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness. Repairs, replaces and assembles parts, such as wings, fuselage, tail assembly, landing gear, control cables, propeller assembly and fuel and oil tanks using required tools. Consults manufacturers' manuals for specifications to determine feasibility of repair or replacement according to malfunction. Performs maintenance, inspections and repairs discrepancies as needed. Examine engines for proper operation by visual inspection and special inspections as determined by engine manufacturers. Inspects turbine blades to detect cracks or breaks. Test engine operations using testing equipment such as defined in the engine manufactures specifications. Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including post flights, rectifying flight discrepancies, greasing moving parts and checking brakes. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisors and management.[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Education and Experience:[/FONT][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] Must possess FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic's Certificate. Ability to communicate well in order to interact with outside agencies and vendors as well as other departments within Jet Aviation. Strong electrical troubleshooting background. Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule. Must possess own common aircraft tools. Gulfstream, Falcon Jet, Challenger, or Embraer aircraft maintenance experience required.[/FONT]
