It was at night, over water, heavy T-storms, probably getting the sh!t beat out of them. I read somewhere that the flight plan was at max range. This explains why they did not take the route a LH 747-400 that departed some 30 minutes before they did. That flight plan was west and north to stay... -

What's the big deal about upgrading? You better go look at the SWA pay scale. Make 120K a year or 220K a year X 10-15 years. Yea that's a lot of coin brother. Give me Captain pay anytime! -
