Could someone please post pays ales for any US based airlines....preferably majors.
I have a friend who is interested.
Also, which airlines have bases in BOS or close to BOS besides Jetblue?
Thanks.

That's because they have better pay/benefits, etc.... as well as massive seniority progression over the next 10-15 years. Jetblue seniority progression mainly a function of growth over that time period.
I haven't heard of one pilot leaving the big 4 for Jetblue for a long, long time. However...
There will be two interview dates in September and two in October. Not sure after that.
Successful candidates will likely be placed in a class in the first half of 2015.
Good luck.

I'm guessing that we won't interview until October.
Pool is quite full now and we still have candidates from 3/19&20, all of April and May interviews still waiting for a call for a class date. Earliest class date for any of these folks would be 9/10. I don't have exact numbers of class...
I can see your point about wanting to be unified, but what have we lost since August of 2011?
Healthcare
Dependability policy (shoved down our throats w/8 hrs. notice)
Premium pay
3A
...just to name a few.
Now we will have to use negotiating power to get some of these things back.
I...
No.
But, 1 missed commute 3 sick calls and a kid who broke his arm will trigger a dependability review. The discipline is at the discretion of your CP.
Let's say these events happened to two different pilots. One is a brown-nosing yes man who's kissed so much rear that his lips are brown...
Dependability policy sent to us in an email this afternoon takes effect at midnight.
This is Jetblue. Policies created/changed all with a quick email.
If you get 5 occurrences in any rolling 12 month window you get to have a "Dependability Review" with your chief pilot. An ambiguous threat...
The company will/would never admit that we were 30% behind our peers. They always referred to it as a 3% deficit.
The reason they do this is to water down the mental effect. Just "3%" behind our peers is a lot more palatable than being 30% behind.
The fact of the matter is that the extra...
Thumping my chest? Whatever....
First, it was either you or your twin brother (note my original post...I did not implicate YOU) who told me he'd rather hire a C-130 driver with 1,500 hours rather than a 6,000 hour RJ driver who just "flies around with the autopilot on". You, or your brother...
Right now our pay is based on what union pilots have fought for and nothing else.
Are you the chicken farmer or Blue Bayou's brother who thinks that his C-130 experience dropping jeeps at 5 feet somehow makes him God's gift to the airline industry?

Entitlement mentality?
I am a professional airline pilot who cares for his crew and his customers. I care about operating the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner.
I expect that an employer would recognize this and compensate me accordingly. I'm not even asking for industry leading...
Wow!
Signing our PEA's??? Really????
Our PEA's have absolutely nothing to do with our retirement or health insurance, being kicked to COBRA for 18 months while on LTD (and then offered NO insurance after 5 years. Our PEA's have very little to do with our work rules.
When I was hired I was...
