    Proline 21 help

I dunno. I had primus 1000, 2000, UNS, GNS-XLS, experience. It was a breath of fresh air to me. I still don't fully understand the Honeywell FMS in the C-750 and have been flying it ten years. It's a counterintuitive piece of ********************. Garmin was easiest to learn. Would take it over...

    Proline 21 help

Relax. Easy and intuitive. Two or three hours and it's like an old shoe.

    Work around CVG?

I fly out of LUK and lots have hired in the last two years. Don't know about the years to come.

    P180 Vs. Phenom 300 - Avantair Ad

I fly the Phenom and it's all good. Nothing to add other than that I won't get into the ******************************-nozzle debate fest,

    Citation X with winglets...

Range is increased by virtue of going to higher altitudes earlier. If you stay at the same altitude you see no increase. No help in hot and high, no increase in payload.

Lear 25D: Pros and cons please

Pro's-- It's fast. Con's--- everything else not mentioned above.

    Citation Encore..The good, the bad?

Good plane, had issues with emer press. I would select it at altitude after a two hour cold soak to see if it works, good chance it won't. Only other counter intuitive with it is the Ultra is a better high and hot airplane. If you are going to be a mountain troller, the U-boat has better numbers...

    Atlantic bucks...

I never had the patience for this bull******************** program even when it was "good". I'll waste my time and effort on something with a more fruitful potential--- like the lottery. Just gimme a damn tee-shirt and keep your "bucks".

    End of an Era!

Do they still have the Lear 55? That thing wasn't used ten years ago!

Engine failure on takeoff and between V2 and Vyse

You're mixing VYSE and V2. Two different certifications altogether. Apples and Oranges.

What happened to the thread about NetJets Voluntary Program?

Maybe Berkshire bought FI and issued a gag order. Might as well work the big brother angle.

    Suze Orman HATES Fractionals

She'll only charter the Beechjunk 400. Says she only likes this plane because she has control of the cabin temp in the back. Now there is some sound decision making!!

    Term Life Insurance

I'd be wary of buying any life insurance from a company that is public now. Some 12 or so are trying to get tarp money. Stick with a mutual company. I fly for one. PM me if you wish, they are pilot friendly.

    FlightSafety Wichita

In all the years I went there I found one good restaurant and it closed a few years ago!

    Citation V/Ultra/Bravo Information

I would steer towards a used CJ-3 or CJ-2. The maintenance is alot cheaper in this series. No phase 5 every 36 months. No ACM. The 530 series engines work really well but it is true that whether the encore or the bravo, plan on a million a side. That's alot of coin for a light jet engine...

Burn it at ocean reef. The same *********************************** bastards that ride in on the iron bitch at you while you run the APU.

    October's Pro Pilot, another winner...

Any truly respectable flight department wants to fly under the radar. You will never see anything in there but bottom feeders. The rag is an avenue to parade the latest and greatest tubine glass. I've had enough Clay Lacy selfcongratulatory BS for a lifetime. Take your huge EGO and retire. Do...

Is the Citation X a POS?

The best brakes are the huge buckets on it. I thought the brakes were good though. What it really needs is a bigger cockpit. Ours has been pretty reliable. There probably are more reliable planes though. It reminds me of the talking Chryslers with the digital dashboards of the 80's. Just more...
